Bite Size

Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and Yorkshire Forward, the Bite Size project was led by Knowledge Base UK. MRS Consultancy was a partner delivering basic IT taster sessions to 300 'learners' across the northern and western parishes of North Yorkshire. The project ran from October 2004 to June 2005.

The project aims were:

• To encourage participation in learning across North Yorkshire among those who have lost the learning habit.
• To raise awareness and understanding of the benefits of learning.
• To raise awareness of learning opportunities and promote the flexibility of learning.
• To encourage learners to progress from their Bite Size Intro onto other learning opportunities.

MRS used the successful QuicNezee® Activities suite, particularly T-Shirt Designer, in its delivery of the Bite Size taster sessions.
