Passport to Occupational Safety and Health in Europe
This project was developed by the strong transnational partnership set up the Leonardo Pilot Project "Passport to Safety 2000" in response to perceived and well documented needs as described in the bid.
The project has:- Extended the Passport to Safety to other sectors, principally agriculture to test the transferability of the model.
- Created common multi-media modules and common training methodologies.
- Targeted clients who employ contractors and provide them with a continuous professional development programme delivered telematically thus providing supported self-training in the workplace.
- Raised awareness of and skills in ICT as well as providing OSH skills to the target groups which will include the long-term unemployed in five member states as well as those living in remote areas or in areas of socio-economic deprivation.
- Sought to ensure sustainability of the project if successful by a commercialisation process.
- Disseminated the methodologies, products and evaluation findings throughout the EU.
