Resources Exchange 2004
Funded by Yorkshire Forward, the regional ICT Resources Exchange is an annual event organised by The MRS Consultancy Ltd.
The event is a showcase for new learning resources for ICT skills development in Yorkshire and the Humber. It provides an opportunity for producers of learning materials and training to exhibit or present materials that support the development of ICT skills.
2004's event attracted 27 exhibitors including ASET, CompTIA, British Computer Society, City and Guilds, Keystrokes, Knowledge Base UK, National Learning Network, Regional Support Centre for Yorkshire and Humber and Equalskills UK. Held at Brooklands Hotel and Conference Centre, Barnsley, over 100 delegates attended this successful event.
A comprehensive programme of seminars took place throughout the day following two themes: ICT as a Skill for Life and ICT Skills and Business. Presentations included speakers from the British Computer Society, Virtual College, The MRS Consultancy Ltd, Call ICT, Safe IT, OCR, E-SY.Info, Keystrokes, UK Online for Business, New Technology Institute West Yorkshire.
