EQUAL e-Employability 'Technical Breakthrough'

The MRS Consultancy Limited worked in partnership with MyKnowledgeMap and the FE Federation on its 'Technical Breakthrough' project. Through this project the Federation created both online and personal training experiences that gave individuals the chance to find out about themselves, identify current and develop new skills and start on a new career path.

The project targeted unemployed participants and also employed people who wanted to change career path with an initial focus on taking up part-time or full-time work in the computing sector in Leeds at Level 3 or 4. As some beneficiaries had a low skills base on entry or low confidence levels, the project aimed to create a supportive environment through one to one tuition.
