The research focused on 60 organisations and comprised of telephone interviews, 25 face to face in-depth interviews and from these 10 good practice case studies were established. The results of the research helped try to establish standards for Voluntary and Community organisations in relation to electronic forms of learning. An electronic benchmarking tool has been developed and delivered to organisations as a self-assessment tool enables organisations to pinpoint where they are on the ladder of e-Learning delivery in comparison to other organisations.
